Angela Scaperlanda Buján, Senior Associate

Angela Scaperlanda Bujan believes we all have a unique story to share Sometimes we just need to take a deeper look within to find it

Angela Scaperlanda Buján is known for her ability to connect authentically with individuals and groups in many diverse contexts, whether one on one, in a team environment, or when delivering public presentations. In the creation of legacy documents, Angela ably guides writers through the entire development process, starting with deciding who they are writing for (the audience), what they want to say, and then how to say it. She is especially skilled in the latter phases – helping people decide what to say and providing key editorial skills to shape how to say it. She is certified in spiritual direction and works with clients to find their centers, to affirm and strengthen their values, and to position themselves for meaningful growth.

Well beyond a keen reading eye and sharp technical editorial skills, Angela has an exceptional ability to hear the voice in someone’s writing. Not only do Angela’s guided manuscripts flow smoothly and naturally, but they also carry a consistent tone of authenticity that is unique to each author. Angela plays an instrumental role with Wordsmith Associates and has recently helped bring two significant publications to market – Update 21 and There Are No Alligators in Heaven!

Angela founded and manages HELP Professional Services LLC to offer unique services focused on personal, professional and organizational growth. In addition to writing and editorial support, HELP PS offers a variety of services, including spiritual direction, executive & life coaching, keynote presentations, and facilitation of workshops and retreats. Angela is formally certified and has extensive experience in all of these areas. Angela is also a bilingual (English/Spanish) intercultural expert, and she holds both a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a master’s in intercultural communication from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Visit the HELP Professional Services LLC website for more information on Angela and the services provided by the HELP PS organization.

On a personal note, this past year, Angela, her husband Elliott, and their children Grace, Nicolas, and Gianna, established themselves in a new community in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Angela is living her own dreams and, together with her family, they are enjoying new adventures and helping each other grow. In addition to their involvement in numerous community and athletic activities, they love spending time at home together.
